FAQ

Questions buyers ask before adoption

Clear answers, limited to current product capabilities.

Plans and rules

How are complex commission plans handled?

Rules combine flat rates, tiers, quota-attainment brackets, multipliers, per-sale floors, and caps per sale, month, quarter or year, with AND/OR conditions on fields such as amount, product, SKU or category. A salesperson can be on several plans at once, and any rule can be tested on real sales before activation. If your plan requires something not yet supported, we state this before you begin.

Do you support splits between salespeople or manager overrides?

Splits are supported: one sale can be credited to up to 10 salespeople (for example 60/40), each paid under their own plan. Splits are set in Evenq, not read from HubSpot, and a paid sale cannot be split again. Manager overrides and team hierarchies are not supported today. If your plan depends on them, please indicate this in your application.

Can a plan be changed during the period?

Rules are locked once a plan is active. To change them, the plan is cloned into a new version. Existing commissions are not recalculated automatically: a draft pay run is recalculated before it is paid.

Clawbacks and payments

What happens if a customer cancels after the commission was paid?

If the deal is marked lost in HubSpot within the plan's maturation window, Evenq records a proportional clawback and recovers it automatically from the next pay runs. You can cap how much of each payout is withheld; the rest carries over. For sales imported from Excel, you record the correction on the salesperson's ledger, with a reason.

Can results be sent to payroll?

Yes, as a file. Pay runs export to Excel, including a Payments sheet with the net amount to pay per salesperson and currency. Each payout also exports to PDF. There is no direct connection to a payroll system today.

What happens to a sale that arrives after the period has been paid?

Commission that arrives after a period was paid goes into a supplemental payout. Commission that has already been paid can never be paid a second time.

Salespeople

Can salespeople see how their commissions were calculated?

They see their earnings, their sales, every commission with the plan and rule that produced it, their quota progress and their balance, and they can preview what a sale would pay under their plan. The full step-by-step calculation is visible to administrators.

How are payout disputes handled?

They open a dispute on the approved or paid payout, with a reason and a comment thread. The administrator resolves it as accepted, partially accepted or rejected, and can add a ledger adjustment. Once resolved, the dispute is sealed.

Data, CRM and AI

Is a CRM replacement required?

No. If you use HubSpot, it remains your source of truth: Evenq reads closed-won deals every hour and never writes to HubSpot. If you do not use HubSpot, sales are imported from Excel or CSV.

Where is our data hosted?

The hosting region is not decided yet. We confirm it, together with our data processing terms, to each design partner before any data is loaded. The HubSpot connection is read-only, salespeople only see their own records, and each company's data is kept apart.

Does Zeke invent figures?

Zeke answers from read-only lookups of your data, runs “what would this pay?” on the real calculation engine, and answers that cite a record it has not read are blocked. It never saves, approves or pays anything: people do.

Getting started

How do we get started?

Submit an early-access request. We then arrange a brief call to review your commission plan. Setup takes place in the app: add your salespeople, build the plan, connect HubSpot or import your sales, and run your first pay run.

Can it be evaluated without real data?

Yes. A practice sandbox runs a full commission cycle on sample data, separate from your live data, and a plan built there can be promoted into your real workspace.

Which languages and currencies are supported?

The app is available in English, Spanish and Polish. Each plan pays in one currency, such as EUR or PLN, and currencies are never added together. A plan can also accept sales in other currencies: ECB and NBP rates are downloaded daily, or entered by hand, and the rate used is locked on each commission. This is off by default.

What is the pricing?

Evenq costs €149 per month (excl. VAT) with 10 payees included and €9.99 per month for each additional payee. You pay for the active payees of each month; the first 10 are included. Logins are unlimited: administrators and salespeople who only check their commission do not pay. Zeke comes with 500 AI credits a month (one per question); packs of 300 credits for €15 or 1,000 for €40 are available. Evenq is not yet generally available: there is no charge during early access, and the first 10 customers get 50% off for 12 months.
